I started painting in 2013. I took a few classes not knowing what to expect and found myself a bit obsessed with the process. The joy in careful observation was familiar to me, but the tactile part was new and engaging.

When the camera is removed from image making and replaced with your own gesture, it focuses and quiets the mind at the same time.
